Domestic Travel Updates

As borders begin to open and we start to spread our wings again, we just wanted to send a friendly reminder that if you are heading away and leaving Victoria you will need to complete a border permit to re-enter Victoria.

This is the link you need – it only takes about 5 minutes to do and is mandatory, even for Victorian’s.

Currently (as of the 17th March 2021) the whole of Australia is listed as a “Green Zone” so you will have no problems re-entering Victoria at the moment.

You can read about the Victorian Permit System and the Traffic Light Zone System here

Pre-approved Border Declarations for entry into other States may still be required and we have listed them below (current as of 15th March 2021). These usually need to be completed about 3 days prior to entry but can vary between States so please check carefully.

Northern Territory
Tasmania
South Australia

As you no doubt are aware, border restrictions and regulations can change quickly so you need to keep an eye on any changes or pre-approved passes before your departure right through to your return home. We of course are here to advise as best we can, however ultimately this is the responsibility of the traveller.

We find this website to be very helpful for information on current border restrictions, local websites and permit application forms.

With new Covid tracing regulations we now need to add more information in advance to all your flight bookings including email address, residential suburb and postcode and mobile numbers.  We will do thisautomatically unless advised otherwise by you at the time of booking.

Also we remind you to check and recheck all of your flight times! Schedule changes have been quite frequent of late so please keep an eye on your bookings. Especially codeshare flights made under a Qantas flight number but operated by Jetstar.

Of course if you have booked with us then you won’t need to worry about all these new tracing rules and regulations as we will take care of all of the finer details and keep an eye on your schedules so you can relax and enjoy your over due holidays! Just sayin….

Take care out there and enjoy this big, beautiful backyard of ours!
