2- WHO WITH AND HOW LONG FOR?
Travelled with friends for a wedding in Hong Kong for 6 days and visited Singapore for 4 days.
3- WHO DID YOU FLY WITH AND HOW WERE THEY?
Singapore Airlines! The service was fast, the cabin crew were friendly, the food was great and the seating was roomy on the A380. We booked our seats as early as possible in the upstairs economy section, which was quiet and has a seating configuration of 2 x 3 x 2, so a little more comfortable.
Only negative was 3 out of 4 flights ran between 30-45 minutes late, but no announcements or advice was given, prior to or at the Airport, so we couldn’t update any transfers or arrival arrangements.
4- WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT?
So many highlights Lei Yue Mun Seafood Bazaar, The Big Buddha and Monastery, and Temple Street Markets in Hong Kong and Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.
Being included in a traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony with the family was definitely a highlight for me.
5 – WHAT WAS THE LOWLIGHT?
6 – BEST THING YOU ATE?
A toss up between two: Beef Satay Noodle Soup and Pork Shu Mai from Canton Dim Sum on Humphreys Avenue, Hong Kong and the Afternoon High Tea at Raffles Hotel, Singapore.
7 – WHERE WOULD YOU GO BACK TO?
Hong Kong, such a fun place to explore day or night, lots to see and do!
8 – TRAVELLING TIP POST HOLIDAY?
Location, Location, Location. Getting a hotel in a central location made all the difference when getting out and around.
