Go Melbourne – we made it!
We are thrilled to announce with the restrictions easing we will be re-opening the store on Monday 09 November.
At the moment we will be opening for appointments only on Mondays from 10am – 4pm.
It will be short and sweet for the time being and most likely just Susie instore (so go easy on her!). Robyn, Rochelle & Nene are of course still available remotely and may make some special guest appearances, you never know!
We are so happy that most businesses are now able to begin trading again, especially our small business brothers & sisters who we know will appreciate your support more than ever.
We also wanted to take this opportunity to point out that whilst some businesses were able to operate (albeit in a reduced capacity) our industry has not. We have actually been the hardest hit . We were the first to be affected as far back as February as rumours of border closures began to surface and we will undoubtedly be the last to recover from this. We are extremely restricted in what we can sell until borders open both domestically and internationally PLUS we are still handing back a year’s worth of profit and working for “free” in trying to secure the best possible outcomes for your cancelled trips.
Despite 90% of our business being international travel, we have done our best to pivot our efforts to domestic travel options for your next holiday, which no doubt we all desperately need! We are experts in all things “travel”, both far and wide, and would love to help you fulfil your overdue holiday plans.
We have always happily played our part in supporting our local community, spending thousands in sponsorship dollars in various ways over the years.
Now we are asking our community to return the favour and support us by simply booking your next break with your trusted local agency.
Until the time comes when we can safely travel overseas again, please consider booking your regional and domestic travel with us.
Whilst we can’t quite turn our agency into a coffee shop, we have recently created some travel-related products that will be available in our online shop which is coming very soon. We will of course be selling these products in store too.
Although we are only a small store, we are committed to complying with all the COVID safe directives. Naturally you will be required to:
* Wear a face mask at all times
* Socially distance
* Practice good hygiene including sanitising your hands on entry (sanitiser provided)
* Complete the COVID visitor register on entry
And please, if you are unwell in the slightest or have been in contact with anyone who has (or even suspected they may have) COVID then please do not enter our store. Get tested and stay home.
We are permitted to have 5 people in the office at any time – this includes staff. For this reason appointments will be required and will be limited to 30 minutes.
