Spring Newsletter

Hello Travellers,
Hoorah – its Spring!  I don’t know about you, but I really felt the cold this Winter!  Probably not the same for most of you who were travelling around the northern hemisphere enjoying a hot European Summer.
Our client photos this quarter take up most of our newsletter this time.   Thank you for sending them in, we love seeing your holiday snaps – keep them coming!

Whilst you have all been gallivanting around the world, we have been working hard back home with many clients already booking for well into next year.   This is usually a great idea, especially with the larger operators such as APT, Scenic and most River Cruising products to be sure you can lock in your first preference.

Also we will soon start to see Earlybird Airfares come through for 2018 and we will keep you updated on this.

If you plan on going away over Christmas and New Year please contact us ASAP as it is already quite late to be booking for this peak season.

Our youngest, Rochelle, has returned from her trip to Hong Kong & Singapore where she had a great time attending a traditional Chinese wedding and experiencing all these two exciting cities have to offer!   You can read about it here.

I managed to take a short getaway up to Port Douglas with my family last month. We stayed in town in Port Douglas then the last few nights at The Thala Beach Eco Lodge, South of Port Douglas but still North of Cairns. What a lovely resort, something a little different, quiet with a beautiful beach. I have written a little about out little getaway here.

Next to head off is Robyn. I am very jealous as she is off to Peru to conquer Machu Picchu, The Peruvian Amazon, Buenos Aires & Santiago. I will share her report when she returns to the office.

Guess who still hasn’t been on a holiday this year? I promise we do try to get her away but now with Coolum for Christmas being so close, she (Jannene) is counting down.

We finally have more information on the new Credit Card Surcharging policies that are now in place by the RBA so please note our new fees are, 1% for Visa/MasterCard and 2% for American Express. Debit & Savings cards remain without a surcharge. These fees are already in effect.

I think that is about all that’s going on in our world this quarter, below are our regular sections for your enjoyment. Be sure to follow us on social media via the links below for up to date information, inspiration and a bit of fun.

Until next time we wish you safe and happy travels
